Madeline The Brave!

"In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines."-Ludwig Bemelmans (Madeline)

Let's go ahead and get something out of the way; Yes, I'm wearing this hat AGAIN! I love it so much and in my mind it goes with everything. Judge me if you must, but this hat has been my inspiration for so many outfits. Speaking of hats, one of my favorite characters growing up was Madeline. For those who don't know, Madeline was a little girl in Paris who grew up in a boarding school with twelve other girls. Although, the girls wore identical uniforms of a yellow hat and blue dress, Madeline always managed to stick out above the rest. Not just because of her red hair, but for her curiosity, spunk, and bravery. In a world where only boys were allowed to be brave, mischievous, and were encouraged to speak their minds, Madeline went by her own rules and did whatever she felt. She was "one of the boys" in a dress. No matter the adventure you could always count on her to travel her own path and be an individual, even if it got her into trouble.

This is my dedication to you Madeline! Thank you for being so courageous, adventurous, and free spirited, all while wearing a dress and a bright yellow hat.

We all have a little bit of Madeline in us. Don't lose it!

One day I’ll go to Paris for my very own adventure. Until then, I bid you adieu! (Because I’m fancy!)

So many amazing opportunities are being present to me this year. I'm stepping out on faith and just doing them no matter how impossible the task may seem. Thank you for all of your support, prayers and well wishes. You're helping me live my dream daily. I love you!
