You're so basic!

Another Bodycon Dress? 

My left boob is bigger than my right, so I'm always checking to make sure they're even! lol (TMI,judge me!)

My friends and I talk about fashion all the time. One topic that always comes up is the overload of bodycon dresses seen from bloggers and fellow plus size women. I LOVE a bold print bodycon dress. It's one of the few items that look amazing on me.

However, some of my fashionista friends stay far away from bodycon dresses. They say it's too simple, so basic, or typical plus size wear. We occasionally shake our heads at the overload of mesh and cut out dresses that show our spanx and at backless bodycon dresses that show it all.

Although, I understand the frustration of bodycon overload, how can you not love them? When you have a night out with your girls or a sexy date night, why not choose anything but a bodycon? Even during the summer I love to throw on a cotton bodycon dress and some sneakers or cute flats. 

        

 The bodycon debate left me a little curious on how others felt about this trend. I asked Marcy Cruz (checkout her personal blog here) from Plus Model Magazine , How she felt about the bodycon trend and she said, “I think a bodycon can be fashionable but it takes confidence to think outside of the fashion box to make it work for you. That's the problem. Many women look to others for inspiration and end up trying to copy someone else's look when they should be making the look their own to suit their style and make them feel comfortable.”    I love how she said that, and I couldn't agree more. Everyone can wear any fashion. You just have to tailor it to you!

Don't rule out those "club dresses" so easy. When you want to "Pull out the big guns and put your freakum dress on" as Beyonce says, the only appropriate choice is a bodycon. You don't argue with Beyonce...you just don't.
