Devil In A Red Dress!

You Hussy!

I remember growing up the color red was seen as a "fast" or "hoe" color. I'm laughing as I write this. I can hear the older church women talking about some, hussy in the red dress(insert “Mmm hmm,” and “Jesus,” here LOL). After hearing that from them, and other women, I've always shied away from the sultry color.  No red lipstick, no red dresses… especially, no red nail polish.

This gorgeous dress is from Rose and Ono and it's on sale. 

So, when I was sent this red dress from, Rose and Ono, I was super skeptical.  But baby, when I tried it on, I damn near couldn't take it off! This is a dress that can be worn on the shoulders. However, I’m a little fast (feel free to judge me LOL), so I decided to wear it off the shoulders, like, Kelly Bundy on, Married with Children, or Halle Berry in, Strictly Business.  If you're going to wear red, go all out!

 I also decided to wear red lipstick. I never, and I mean, never, wear red because I'm scared of non-natural makeup.  Usually, I stick to nudes and pinks.  Once I put it on, I felt like I’d created an alter ego. Every good girl has her bad side, right?  Sometimes you just have to be the show stopper.  This is the “Freakum Dress,” that Beyonce was talking about.
